Proof66 Notes

Courvoisier 21yr cognac is part of their connoissuer collection and bears the age statement of 21 years, more of a tradition in whiskey rather than brandy.

In a very complimenary review from the Beverage Testing Institute, they called it a "sensationally vibrant and smooth cognac."

About the Producer:

Courvoisier cognacs claim a heritage back to the early 19th century and a legendary visit from Napoleon Bonoparte, which leads them to place his sillhouette on every bottle and claim to be the "cognac of Napoleon." It is made in France from the Ugni Blanc grape, then aged and blended at the historic Courvoisier headquarters. Today, they are one of the top selling cognacs in the world.
