Proof66 Notes

Courvoisier Initiale cognac is a blend of Grand Champagne and Borderies crus aged "for decades" prior to blending. It is made for "understated perfection."

About the Producer:

Courvoisier cognacs claim a heritage back to the early 19th century and a legendary visit from Napoleon Bonoparte, which leads them to place his sillhouette on every bottle and claim to be the "cognac of Napoleon." It is made in France from the Ugni Blanc grape, then aged and blended at the historic Courvoisier headquarters. Today, they are one of the top selling cognacs in the world.
