Brandy - Cognac
Courvoisier VS Very Special Cognac
This is a Tier 2 score in the Brandy category. It means critics have highly recommended the spirit as a benchmark in the category.
Courvoisier VS (very special) cognac is their entry level and most common (and popular) expression. It is a blend of cognacs aged between 4 and 8 years.
About the Producer:
Courvoisier cognacs claim a heritage back to the early 19th century and a legendary visit from Napoleon Bonoparte, which leads them to place his sillhouette on every bottle and claim to be the "cognac of Napoleon." It is made in France from the Ugni Blanc grape, then aged and blended at the historic Courvoisier headquarters. Today, they are one of the top selling cognacs in the world.
