Proof66 Notes

De Luze was founded in concept in 19th century New York, of all places, by borthers Alfred and Philippe De Luze. They eventually split up with one brother remaining in New York and the other setting up an import/export business in Cognac, France. This partnership ended up being highly successful. After the acquisition of a few other vineyards, they were able to set up a strong network of exports by the end of the century. De Luze was purchased by Domaine Boinaud in 2006. (Sourced from the write-up at the Cognac Expert)

De Luze XO ("extra old") cognac averages 20 years old in various blends.
