Proof66 Notes

L'Essence de Courvoisier is said to be a legacy of Master Blender Jean-Marc Olivier. It is made with exceptionally rare cru from the early 1900s.

Courvoisier cognacs claim a heritage back to the early 19th century and a legendary visit from Napoleon Bonoparte, which leads them to place his sillhouette on every bottle and claim to be the "cognac of Napoleon." It is made in France from the Ugni Blanc grape, then aged and blended at the historic Courvoisier headquarters.
