I'm with Phizbin on the apples and cinnamon and that part isn't bad at all, but the flavor profile and finish are like reading 80 pages of a 100 page story and not having the last 20. It just walks away. Not worth $70. Might pay $25. Maybe.

It has a deep, rich aroma of apple with a little sting of alcohol that you can almost convince yourself is cinnamon. It begs to be warmed in the hands in a snifter, which enriches the aroma. The taste is a little disappointing--beautiful aroma but the taste is hot and stings across the entire palate. I couldn't drink it neat. I was forced to water it back a bit (which I think is kind of wrong with brandy but there it is). That improved the front part of the palate considerably but brought out some bitterness from the wood. All in all, disappointing in general and considerably disappointing for the price (I paid $70).
