Abyss Authentic Absinthe is produced from a recipe that goes way back to 1811. The people at Abyss say that the recipe results in a product that is "very powerful to the palate [that has] rich notes of Wormwood offering bitterness to a long and elegant finish." At a mere 148 proof, Abyss -- like other Absinthes -- is probably not for the timid.
