Boodles Gin is bottled and exported from England. According to a 1007 article in Slashfood, it is produced by Chivas Brothers by contract for Pernod-Ricard, a French "big liquor" company. The same article claims the name comes from Edward Boodle, who ran an English gentleman's club 1762.

Boodles is my favorite Martini gin, followed closely by Hendricks. It has a bright, clear taste, and is very accepting of a good vermouth like Dolan.

This is a top tier, classic London dry. Great for G&T or martini. 2 notches above Beefeater.
