Proof66 Notes

Sipsmith gin is made from a barley grain base (the same as malt whiskeys) and made in very small batches of 200-300 bottles at a time. The botanicals are selected from all over Europe, including Macedonian juniper, Bulgarian coriander, and Seville orange zest. The spirit is blended down with Lydwell spring water.

4.3 it seems the barley really makes a difference in this gin. no burn, great mouth feel, nice for a martini. the flavor profile is pretty traditional and falls a bit flat in a g&t, but certainly a good, unique gin.
