Proof66 Notes

Balsam American Amaro is made in the style of the classic Italian "amaro" bitters liqueurs but made at Pennsylvania Pure Distillers... hence, "American Amaro." (One might think of "American Pizza.") It is based on a vodka infused with "fruits and spices," some of which are sure to the bitter-style of herbs made famous by Fernet, Strega, Campari, and others. The label is owned by Balsam Spirits, LLC.
