Liquor Review Notes:
Green Chartreuse liqueur is made by Carthusian monks in France. They claim only two members of their order know all of the 130 plants. They also claim that it is the only "naturally green" liqueur in the world... which is debatable but does at least note the all-natural production methods. They recommend drinking it "very cold" and with ice
Named Best in Show--Liqueur in the 2006 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
Anthony Dias Blue of Tasting Panel Magazine liked the liqueur, giving it a 98pt rating, saying "This has been around so long it had a color named after it... Still superb after 405 years."
