Proof66 Notes

Evil Monk Coffee liqueur is technically owned by TEM Enterprises but currently produced by contract at the High Plains Distillery. It is said to stem from an ancient Russian recipe by founder Sean Combs's father. First home-distilling the product, it eventually expanded into the official label that it is today. The name evil monk is in reference to Rasputin and meant to evoke images of revolutionizing a Russian drink.

It uses the slogan "energy with attitude" and claims to have "more caffeine per ounce than Red Bull Energy Drinks."
