Grand Imperial Orange Liqueur
This is a Tier 2 score in the Liqueur category. It means critics have highly recommended the spirit as a benchmark in the category.
Cognac Ferrand established itself as a 75 hectare vineyard in the "heart of Grande Champagne" producing cognac. It was founded in 1989 by Jean-Dominique Andreu and Alexander Gabriel beginning with cognac with "individual character" and expanding to "high-quality spirits." They distill in small, copper alambic stills then aged in a range of seven different cellars, all kept at various conditions.
Grand Imperial Orange liqueur is a blend of their cognac with orange essence, meant to compete with the likes of Grand Marnier and other classic French orange liqueurs.
