Much better on its own than the Evan Williams Honey, but double the price. I still prefer Drambuie to Jack Honey, but this is still pretty solid stuff.

It gives me a headache and I can feel myself getting less healthy as I drink it. Weird ashy chemical taste along with artificial honey flavoring, about what I would expect from the people that make Jack Daniels. But despite that, it is somehow pretty easy to get down without a mixer, and a friend and I once polished off a whole bottle at a campfire in one sitting, so that's kind of an endorsement I guess. It could be the catalyst to a fun time, but it will definitely be the catalyst to a headache too.

I wouldn't recommend this to someone unless they really like Jack... To me it has that weird sweet characteristic that I get from JD with a burnt taste to it that is hard for me to get around to find anything else about it... My bottle doesn't really taste like honey, could have been a bad batch maybe idk.

I do not like this in the least.... it has a burnt caramel taste that I just can't get past, I very much prefer the Jim Beam Honey.

Very smooth. The bite is very minimal. The honey flavor is very sweet, if your into sweetness. Its not sticky like other honeys. Its also a fair price.

A little overpriced, but I love it. It's very smooth (70 pr) and even. I love mixing it with mountain dew but it very good straight. Much better than Beam Honey or Wild Turkey Honey.

I tried the Wild Turkey version (American honey) and didn't care for it. This, however, is much better. It's sweet but not as syrupy tasting as the other.

This is another great stepping stone into whiskey. Throw a couple of cubes in it to bring the sweetness down & you have yourself a really great sipper once the ice melts down a bit. I take this out golfing when it's hot outside & it's absolutely perfect! I will caution that it is a liquor & very sweet. Scotch/bourbon enthusiasts will likely not enjoy casually but it's a nice gateway whiskey that is sweet at a lower proof.

I can't stand the burn found in cheaper JD offerings, but this is a lovely drop. The honey contrasts well with the whiskey's smokey harshness and is very drinkable on it's own - if a little on the sweet side. Fantastic mixed with something that adds a bit of tartness to it, like coke.

Grabbed this on my way to a BYOB party. Wasn't feeling like having vodka. So I bought this for a change of pace. Very smooth on it's own. And mixed well with cola for my tastes. Not nearly as sweet as Crown Royal Maple. Gonna make this a summertime staple with a lemonade/ice tea combo.

I like the smokey smell. Too thin of taste and very sweet. A mixer for sure. Probably my favourite Jack Daniels product.

Almost sugary sweet and a bit thin. If I were shopping for a liqueur based on Tennesse Whiskey or Bourbon, I'd find some Sweet Lucy. Much deeper flavors.

This is definitely a liqueur.  The buttery dark-honey flavor completely coats the mouth, finishes smooth, and lingers for quite a while.  Definitely light on the whiskey flavor, but can easily stand on it's own with an ice cube or splash of water.  It's one of the best mixers I've had, and it's great to serve just about anyone - it doesn't have the traditional rough finish of Jack Daniels proper.

Again, I'm loving it, may be considered another "girly" drink, but that's O.K. With me, try it neat, but if need be for the lady in your life add a little water, but all in all another fine drink to begin your venture into the "whiskey or whisky" tour in life. One must start somewhere so let's start with something that will keep us interested, instead of something that will just turn us away from the first sip...

I didn't care for this an excessive amount. It's definitely worth mixing with, the honey notes would complement tea well, and it would be great in coke. However, I thought it was too syrupy and caramel-y for any straight drinking, it skirts along the boundary between a whiskey and a liqueur. If it were to define itself as a "whiskey" I would give it only 2 or 3 stars. But since the people running JD enterprises were totally forthright by labeling it a "liqueur" blended with whiskey, (instead of trying to pass it off as a whiskey with a touch of honey) it's a 4 star drink in my opinion.

Smooth and sweet -- it tastes like actual honey, and has the JD Black smoke to back it up. Excellent straight, and it would mix well.

You can definitely taste the honey in the first shot. It doesnt overpower the liquor but it is a little sweet for my taste. It serves as a great mixer and gives any clear drink you mix it with a wonderful light amber color.

Of the honey liqueurs (this is a liqueur, make no mistake about it) I have tried, this is the best. It has great balance to the sweetness, with the JD taking over in the third act, preventing it from being cloying. Purists will mock it. Let them. I like it straight from the freezer and think it mixes well with ginger ale, lemonade and sweet tea. Lemon-lime sodas will work as well and come the holiday season, I think this will rock your egg nog. This is a hit with the ladies, so fellas, do yourself a favor and keep a bottle of this, even if you don't drink it, your lady friends will appreciate it.

Just tried this and I must say jack Daniels has done it again. A wonderful blend of Tennessee whiskey and honey liqueur.
