Proof66 Notes

Headframe Spirits is located in mining country in Butte, Montana named for the contraption that lowered miners into the mines. It was founded by John and Courtney McKee in 2011. John McKee came from a background of making bio-diesel, which "fueled" his passion for distillation. (From the Montana Standard)

Orphan Girl Bourbon Cream liqueur is named for a particular mine called the Orphan Girl and today featured at the World Mining Museum (where they note it produced 7.5 million ounces of silver until closure in 1956). We presume that the liqueur is cream blended with bourbon. They suggests serving in a Dirty Girl cocktail, calling for 1 part Orphan Girl and 3 parts root beer.
