Vermont Ice Maple Cream liqueur is made from a base of grape brandy (the Le Crescent grape)--itself a highly unusual spirit base for cream liqueurs which use neutral grain spirit or whiskey. To our mind, this will add a touch of citrus sweetness to the spirit. The brandy is blended with aged apple brandy, cream and Vermont maple syrup. The brand is owned by the Vermont-based Boyden Valley Winery. The liqueur is filed with the federal Tax and Trade Bureau as produced by Dundee Foods (now LiDestri Spirits) of New York, whom we presume is the bottler of record.
