 Chiarella Cesar Arce was founded in Tacnena, Peru in 1982 to make pisco from Black ("negra") and Italia (moscatel) grape varietals.

Don Cesar Pisco Puro is their flagship variety called a "puro" because it is made from a single grape: the Negra (black) grape.
