Cold River Vodka prides itself on being a complete Maine product, "true to the heritage of of Maine agriculture, family farming, and the preservation of open space." It's made from locally grown potatoes (from Green Thumb Farms) and crafted completely on site from "ground to glass." They place particular emphasis on using the whole potato in their fermentation rather than a processed potato starch--they claim the flavor comes primarily from the potato skin.
