Liquor Review Notes:
Cabo Wabo tequila was originally regarded as the tequila of Sammy Hagar--legendary rocker. In 2007, Hagar sold 80% interest of the brand to Gruppo Campari with Skyy Spirits as the marketer and importer to the United States. Sammy Hagar is still involved in the marketing of the popular tequila.

The tequila itself is produced in Mexico by Impulsora Rombo, who now make tequila for Cabo Wabo as well as under a few other lesser known labels such as Terra Firme and Fineza.

Cabo Wabo Anejo tequila is aged for fourteen months in oak and suggested as a sipping tequila.

(4 out of 5). A decent aƱejo, and ten dollars or so less than some others in its league. Nose of mildly cooked agave, vanilla, caramel and alcohol. Lovely oily mouth feel, with a touch of pleasant heat. Slightly lacking in the finish, but overall a good lowland tequila. $45 in my area.

Nice, bit of a bite at the finish but I found it tasty and pretty smooth. Are there better anejo a for the price? Yes but this will hold its own.

As a whisky drinker, Im still a tequila novice. Of the handful Ive tried so far, this is the first to blow me away. A great sipping tequila!

Definitely one of my most favorite tequilas. I'm a huge fan of the whole Cabo line.

Tasted this tequila as part of a 10-tequila tasting. It was good, but not great. Definitely my least favorite of the three Cabos. The scent and initial taste are strong points, but the oak after taste is a bit too much for me.
