Tequila - Anejo
Cabo Wabo Añejo 100% Agave Azul Tequila
This score falls in the 91st percentile of all spirits in the Tequila category and is an example of the very best in its class.
Cabo Wabo tequila was originally regarded as the tequila of Sammy Hagar--legendary rocker. In 2007, Hagar sold 80% interest of the brand to Gruppo Campari with Skyy Spirits as the marketer and importer to the United States. Sammy Hagar is still involved in the marketing of the popular tequila.
The tequila itself is produced in Mexico by Impulsora Rombo, who now make tequila for Cabo Wabo as well as under a few other lesser known labels such as Terra Firme and Fineza.
Cabo Wabo Anejo tequila is aged for fourteen months in oak and suggested as a sipping tequila.
