Liquor Review Notes:
Don Benito tequilas pride themselves on 3 generations of tequila-making experience and using only Blue Weber agave that is at least 10 years old before harvesting from the Jalisco Highlands. This, they believe, makes the base for the best-tasting tequilas. The agave is cooked in traditional brick ovens prior to fermentation and distillation.
Don Benito Reposado is aged in American oak (that is "rested" or "reposado") for between 2 and 11 months, giving a light color and flavor to the normally clear tequila. They say the resulting taste has "hints of herbs and spice."
