It's strong on the "burn" flavors and light on the agave, funky, earthy stuff. The aging gives a very pleasant oak taste that is the highlight for me. A nice balance for the price I'd buy it again. Fine for drinking neat. Better and cheaper than Espolon. I like it!

(2.5 out of 5). After falling in love with Lunazul blanco, I was disappointed with the reposado. Rather than the aging adding character, it seems to simply dampen what makes the blanco so good. It doesn't offend, but lacks character. For just a little bit more cash, I would get Espolón's reposado. Can find for $15-17 in my area.

It's...ok.  Bought this primarily to make margaritas but also tried some neat.  Pretty light flavor, not quite earthy enough for me as tequilas go.

Opened a bottle with a friend.  After a two fingers neat, he described it as 'candied nail polish".  I agree.  Should be fine with lime/salt shots or mixed.

The agave notes are still there in perfect balance with the woody aromas. Purity is first detected on the nose.
