Liquor Review Notes:
Milagro tequila is produced by Industrializadora de Agave San Isidro, which is responsible for a wide range of tequila labels from the well-known (Milagro) to the obscure (Chaya). William Grant & Sons currently owns and imports the Milagro brand, having acquired a 51% stake in the brand. The brand itself was founded by Daniel Schneewiess and Moises Guindi of Mexico City.
Milagro tequila is made with 100% estate-grown blue agave. It is named for the "miracle" of using ancient, traditional methods of crafting tequila and bringing "extraordinary depth" and "unparalleled smoothness."
Milagro Select Barrel Reserve (SBR) anejo tequila is a limited edition using hand-picked and hand-selected agave. It's aged for 3 years in French oak after a triple-distillation process and presented in a hand-blown crystal bottle.
