Smooth taste with no alcohol. Easy to drink but I miss the typical Agave flavour. It is there but not too intense . Easy to drink, not much depth, round and clear!

While this tequila isn't terrible, this is one of the most boring tequilas out there. It's marketed as an ultra-premium tequila, other mass-marketed ultra-premium brands (herradura, don julio, cabo wabo etc.) offer much more depth in flavor. It is very smooth, but lacks the agave character that we all tequila afficionados love. With so many attractive options out there, i dont see investing on patron with its premium pricetag.

Drinkable but not something I would share with my favorite friends. Simply put, it has enough sweetness and taste to satisfy a quick drink and a consistent agave tone. It is over priced, but hey your paying for the name. There are worse tasting tequilas but overall not a first choice.

Though slightly sweeter, it to me seems pretty close to the 1800 Silver. Unfortunately the Patron costs twice as much. I agree with NeatPour; once you've had anything by El Tesoro everything else just disappoints.

Generally agree with most of people who feel this is overrated. Its an ok silver tequila but not for the cash. Try 1800 if your looking for a better tequila experience at midshelf.

I know it's popular but DON'T DO IT. Check out el tesoro reviews on this website, find a store that sells it, & buy that... you're welcome

(2.5 out of 5). Hard to review this one. Because, while it isn't terrible, there's absolutely no reason to buy it. What it is, quite simply, is a smooth but substanceless tequila. Very mild agave nose and very smooth, but that's the most that can be said. In its price range, Don Julio and Partida Blanco are much better "subtle" blancos. Additionally, El Tesoro and Siete Leguas are much better flavorful sipping blancos. There are many better options out there. $50 in my area.

Highly over-rated. That pretty much describes Patrons 3 traditional models. Patron seems to have gotten this reputation as a marquee top shelf tequila, probably because it is competing against the Cuervos (which can scarcely be called tequila) of the world. Against that sort of chemical, Patron seems awesome. Against anything else thats not mass market though, it fails. This silver costs near $50 in my area, and I wouldnt remotely consider touching it at that price. Its smooth, and doesnt burn, but its substanceless. It says something when bargain, unknown tequilas for dozens less have more taste. And thats the failure Patron in general: The taste just isnt there for what youre paying, and youre paying IMO a lot, largely based on its name. I recommend something like Don Eduardo for the price, a brand that is wonderfully tasty and refined. Pass on Patron.
