Has a rich green apple nose with hint of agave. While this isn't the best blanco i've ever tried, i really love the apple nose on this one. This is more of a mixing blanco than a sipper btw.

I couldn't agree more with the previous reviewer. This is the second time that I have bought a bottle of this stuff, but it is the first time that I have sipped it neat. I was surprised to find that it has a great nose to it. It's got a mix of tonic water, pineapple, herby, vegetal agave, and sweet sangria scents coming from it. I wouldn't sit and sniff it all day, but it is certainly enjoyable. The taste is where the letdown occurred. It was fairly smooth without too much of an alcohol bite, but it was just really muted. I was waiting the whole time for the agave to punch through, but it just never happened. It also didn't really have much of a finish either. I do have to say that this tequila makes some fine margaritas, but for the price, I am sure that you can get some better mixing blancos as this is not one that I would choose to sip again.

While better than many of the other more industrially made lowland tequilas (of which there are legion )it still doesn't rise to the level of a favorite. Easy-to-find, but quite pricey for what it is - and it's still a bit harsh to boot.
