Absolut claims "all natural ingredients" with "no added sugar." It officially began production in 1979 and, to this day, they take great pride in their production facilities in Ahus, Sweden where "every drop of water" comes from a single "deep well." Its base is a soft winter-wheat.
Absolut Citron vodka is one of the first of a long line of flavored vodkas first launched in 1988. It is not clear that the "citrus flavor" is all natural. They suggest drinking on ice or used in a Cosmopolitan.
In their enthusiastic review in 2010, Wine Enthusiasts recommended it as a "sure classic for vodka tonics."

Nobody could complain about the quality of flavor, because it's very present, and very citrus-y! Refreshing, but not altogether a light liquor, it's potent and heavy actually (which is my opinion of all Absolut vodkas, they tend to be quite dense). A job well done with this baby Absolut!
By: manikmathur (16) 6/18/2011Cheers!(0)Not much of a vodka drinker , but the hot indian summers are not condusive for whiskey, So for a while have been drinking the Absolut Citron Vodka which along with some Crushed ice, the flavor is awesome u can actually taste the natural citrus ingredients, smooth and very refreshing. perfect for citrus based cocktails too
