Absolut claims "all natural ingredients" with "no added sugar." It officially began production in 1979 and, to this day, they take great pride in their production facilities in Ahus, Sweden where "every drop of water" comes from a single "deep well."

Absolut Kurant black currant flavored vodka was first launched in 1992 and the original label called for Absolut Vinbar but was later cast aside for potential conflict with English "wine bar."
