Proof66 Notes

Basmoon Vodka is made in Spain by the Basque people using locally-grown potatoes as their base... a style of vodka generally noted for a creamy and earthy taste popular among vodka Martini drinkers (the great majority of vodka on the market is made from grain).

Basque Moonshiners claims a heritage stretching back to one Spanish civil war soldier Antonello Favro, who was a "moonshiner" (if Spain can borrow the American term) making spirits from potatoes. The modern distillery was founded in 2014 but using the decades old still.
