Finlandia vodka is made from "untouched" glacial spring water filtered from a 10,000 year old moraine. Finlandia The vodka is distilled from six-row barley.

Finlandia Grapefruit fusion vodka is one of their several flavored lines. This is said to be "fresh" and "sunny" natural taste.

Finlandia Grapefruit vodka was named Best Flavored Vodka in the 2011 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

Finlandia Grapefruit Vodka was awarded the Platinum Medal at the 2010 SIP Awards Competition.

Special Note: we've taken a number of inquiries at Proof66 questioning how this particular vodka can rise up to (at one point) #1 on our list, as it has done on several occasions. The answer is this: look at the consistency of its critical awards. We don't think anyone who doesn't like grapefruit is going to like this particular vodka but for those who turn up their noses at flavored vodka in general, it is interesting to note that the pros so consistently and enthusiastically support this particular vodka. If critical score are meant for anything, it is to give a person a reason to explore new spirits for themselves. If that notion of exploration can possibly be true, it is certainly true here. Update: we acknowledge the consistency has tapered off a bit in recent years, though still an exceptionally well-rated in the category.
