Proof66 Notes

Haute Vodka is made in Iowa from a base of 100% US midwestern corn, an American style of vodka as opposed to the French/Russian style of wheat. It is blended down with springwater they say is purified with UV light and then filtered through "virgin" charcoal (the charcoal being very traditional but the "virgin" rather unusual). According to the filing with the Federal Taxa and Trade Bureau, Haute was produced by High Plans Distillery up until 2012 but is now produced by Dehner Distillery of Iowa.
