Vodka - Grain
New Amsterdam No. 525 Vodka
This is a Tier 2 score in the Vodka category. It means critics have highly recommended the spirit as a benchmark in the category.
New Amsterdam spirits are meant to be a modern approach to spirits. The bottles are made to remind us of the gleaming skyscrapers of Manhattan--where the Dutch first named New York City "New Amsterdam" back in 1624 and introduced gin to the new world. The label is owned by Gallo.
Unlike the gin, the vodka is distilled from American Midwest grain and undergoes a multiple distillation and filtration process designed to create a smooth taste and finish.
To the delight of New York Jets fans, New Amsterdam Spirits announced a sponsorship deal in October of 2011.
