Official liquor review for Ocean Hawaii Organic Vodka

Hawaii Sea Spirits is located in Kahului, Hawaii. The company is based upon the "aloha spirit" ad environmental conscientiousness.

Ocean vodka is now made from a base of certified organic sugar cane, which is appropriate coming from Hawaii. While usually associated with rum or cachaca, sugar cane can make vodka provided it is distilled to the requisite 190 proof before blending back to 80. We usually find sugar-based vodkas to a have a very lightly sweet characteristic without the break-like / grain aromas and flavors. The water is from desalinated Pacific Ocean water.

The 2011 Beverage Testing Institute declared Ocean vodka to have "Excellent purity and smoothness."
