Vodka - Corn
This is a Tier 1 score in the Vodka category. It means the spirit has won the highest recommendation at least once and probably many times.
Opulent vodka is distilled from American Midwestern corn--which they regard as the finest grain available in the world--and distilled in Minnesota from water purified in a deionization process. It is made at the Minnesota-based United States Distilled Products and appears to be owned by Crosby Lakes Spirits Company.
Opulent has released a series of very funny if very cheeky videos celebrating the "Opulent Man." Our favorite is the man on a picnic with his intended where he plucks an orange from a tree, juices it on the ridges on the bottle (suggestively), and somehow turns that into two very well-made screwdriver cocktails.
