Vodka - Grain
This is a Tier 3 score in the Vodka category. It means critics recommended the spirit but it will be a value brand or have an exotic taste.
Venom Vodka was founded by Kim Blaylock and Mark Miceli, who met while serving as firefighters in Colorado. The name "venom" came from the "poisonous desert landscape" in which they closed their business deal with a handshake. In honor of venom, each bottle portrays an image of Medusa. A portion of the profits are donated to firefighter charities. The vodka itself is made by contract at the Oregon-based Bendistillery, a company that specializes in special ordered vodkas. It is made from a base of grain and blended down with Cascade Mountain spring water; filtered through crushed volcanic rock.
