Proof66 Notes

anCnoc whiskies are made at the Knockdhu Distillery; the name change from "knockdhu" to "anCnoc" was undertaken in 2000 to avoid confusion with other labels of whisky and is Gaelic for "the hill." The whiskies are made in traditional copper pot stills and aged in a combination of bourbon barrels and sherry casks. The brand is overseen by Inver House Distillers, itself a subsidiary of International Beverage Holdings Limited
