Proof66 Notes

Bainbridge Yama Mizunara is a line of whiskey named in honor of the village of Yama in Washington State founded by Japanese immigrants in 1883. The whiskey is made from a base of 100% barley (not malted) grown 77 miles from the distillery. The whiskey is aged in Japanese oak from called Mizunara in volumes of 10-15 gallons (much smaller than the typical 53 gallon American oak barrels).
