Proof66 Notes

Clontarf 1014 is a blended whiskey. It was re-branded in 2014 to celebrate the Millennium celebration of the Battle of Clontarf where King Brian Boru of Ireland was slain in battle with the vikings on April 23, 1014 AD. The brand's current marketing profile is to appeal to women who drink whiskey. The blends are produced by Irish Distillers by private label agreement for Castle Brands.

Very drinkable on its own or mixed. Good for people who like the taste of Jameson but not the price.
