Proof66 Notes

Compass Box blended scotches are a new range meant to both nurture and evolve the traditions of scotch and provide a "re-birth" to the respect of blended scotch.

Orangerie Scotch takes as its base a blend of Highland single malt and Fife grain whisky. They infuse the blended scotch with hand zested Navalino oranges and aromatic, Asian spices. They suggest drinking slightly chilled paired with chocolate.

While we have opted to list this as a blended scotch in order to categorize it most easily for consumer browsing, it is not legal to call it "scotch whisky" because it has taken on the infusion of fruit and spices. Note the label is careful regarding this issue.
