Proof66 Notes

Corner Creek Distilling Company is the business that manages and oversees the bottling of their namesake bourbon. According to the 2008 and 2009 filing with the federal Tax and Trade Bureau, the bourbon is produced at Kentucky Bourbon Distillers

Corner Creek Bourbon is named for a fishing creek that is drawn on the label. The whiskey is aged for 8 years in oak using a mash bill of wheat, rye, and corn blended down with Kentucky limestone water.

Corner Creek was featured on BlueKitchen.net as part of their Best Bourbon Tour and pulled down a robust "A" grade. They called it "Well-crafted and mellow."

One of my least favorite bourbons I've tasted. I'm generally a fan of KBD stuff, but this tasted soooo soapy, with little redeeming qualities on the finish. Could have just been the batch, but I was so discouraged it'll be a while before I try again.

First impression was a bit bitter and not rough just not smooth. With a few drops of water though the real flavor comes out nicely. Now the bitterness is a nice dry grainy flavor. A touch of sweetness rounded out with a flavor that reminds me of the smell of rich earth. A fleeting finish is hard for me to catch hold of. A nice whiskey at a good price under $30 but I would have liked to had it at 12yr old. I think this would have helped.

Very underrated. Rivals Woodford and Basil in taste but at a more affordable price (polite way of saying "just as good but cheaper"). Not as sweet as Makers but every bit as smooth. No bite. What I drink and what I give as a gift.

Best value in bourbon that I've found. Excellent product for a very reasonable price.

Dry and smooth, subtle (nothing bold here...opposed to buffalo trace in the same price range). Not a sipper but great for mixing quality cocktails.
