Glenfarclas 105 Cask Strength scotch is part of the trend for bottling straight from the barrel without benefit of blending down with water. The bottling proof is not 105 but rather 120 (60% alcohol) vs the typical bottling strength of around 86 (or 43% alcohol). The benefit is that the consumer gets decide the drinking strength and how much to blend down (few would argue that it shouldn't be watered down at all).
