Proof66 Notes

Great Northern Vanguard whiskey is made from a grain bill of 55% corn with the balance in wheat and rye. This qualifies it as a bourbon but Great Northern refers to it as a "Wisconsin whiskey" and describes it as something in between a bourbon and a Canadian whiskey.

Great Northern Distilling is located in Plover, Wisconsin and founded by Brian Cummins (former chemical engineer--which we think is handy for distilling spirits).
