Proof66 Notes

McClelland's Highlands Single Malt scotch is, obviously, the highlands expression from the label and is described as "ronded, firm, and fruity." The highlands region is noted for a hint of smoke without the heavy peat of the Islay scotches.

T&A McClelland was founded in 1818 and is a company that selects and markets scotch whiskies under its own label. It considered itself a tour guide of the different whisky regions in Scotland, offering an expression from each key region.
