Proof66 Notes

Shieldaig is a line of value scotches produced by Ian MacLeod Distillers, though sourced from other distilleries and bottled on site to taste. The name is said to translate as "sea of the herring." The Islay Single Malt comes from an undisclosed distillery from the Islay region of Scotland, a place known generally for the considerable smoky or "peat reeK' in the scotch, highly prized by scotch enthusiasts. It (sadly) carries no age statement.
