Proof66 Notes

The Original Corn Whiskey moonshine is made at Stillhouse Distillery in Virginia by Chuck Miller, who openly admitted in an interview with the Tasting Panel Magazine in 2012 that his grandfather made moonshine during Prohibition and even had his truck "shot up" by federal agents. It sits on a farm where they grow, harvest, and grind their own corn for the whiskey. Stillhouse Red Hot Whiskey (formerly red hot moonshine) is bottled at a relatively benign 69 proof (as opposed to the 80 proof neutral moonshine and the 100 proof where many moonshines are bottled).
