Tomatin's Cu Bocan Single Malt scotch presents in an impressively dark and sinister box and exhorts one to "unleash the beast." The Cu Bocan is a mythical beast haunting the village of Tomatin The whisky itself is considered "lightly peated" and presented as a line of different aging techniques of virgin oak, ex-bourbon, and ex-sherry casks (some labels would call this a "triple wood"). They suggest looking for citrus notes and coconut.
