Proof66 Notes

The Paul Beau Hors d’Age cognac has been aged for at least 30 years, creating a spirit that (according to the producer) boasts "complex, powerful and impressive rancio, and a rich aromatic range."

Cognac Paul Beau is a legacy of the late 19th century wine-producer Samuel Beau, whose son Paul took over the business in 1914. It is Paul who began producing brandy from the Grande Champagne region's grapes and codified the Paul Beau brand in 1977.
