Proof66 Notes

Old English Gin's label should be taken quite literally: it is a recreation of a recipe dated from 1783 and meant to replicate the oldest available styles of gin that heralded the "gin craze" of London. It is bottled in a replica champagne style bottle similar to how gin was purchased during that era, sealed in black wax, and given the stylings of late 18th century marketing for the label.
