Proof66 Notes

300 Joules is a line of flavored cream liqueurs founded by cardiologist Ron Haberman whose name stems from the electrical shock used to resuscitate patients in cardiac arrest and named in homage of James Prescott Joule. They suggest serving from the freezer. According to the write-up at Good Spirits News, the standard defibrillator rating is for 200 joules but as the website for already taken, the label simply decided to "up" the number to 300.
