Proof66 Notes

Celtic Honey Liqueur is a blend of Irish whiskey, French cognac, and a hint of honey among other (closely guarded) secret ingredients. The brand used to be known as "Celtic Crossing" and meant to "honor the millions of Irish who have crossed over to settle around the world." The modern recipe is made with 100% Irish ingredients (but for, we guess, the French cognac), where the honey comes from Irish wildflowers and the water from Irish springs.

The 2012 Beverage Testing Institute called it a "light, feminine liqueur for sipping on the rocks."

Harsh nose: smells like rubbing alcohol. Sweet, smooth, honey-ish taste. Light on the pallet. Had a sample bottle. Nice to sample, but I probably wouldn't buy a full bottle.
