Proof66 Notes

Casa Dragones tequila considers itself to be a small-batch tequila and blends their blanco (un-aged) in a "hand finish" process" with a "hint of extra anejo" tequila. The bottle appears to present clear and we have opted to list it as a blanco to better represent its peer group. Their explicit purpose is to create a sipping tequila.

Quetzal Quetzal (161)
Rating: 2.0 (2013-11-11)
(2 out of 5). Like PatrĂ³n Gran Platinum, this is an example of style and smoothness over substance. The stylish, understated bottle is the only winning aspect of this tequila. The nose contains nothing but mild citrus and slight agave, and the taste, while smooth, has absolutely nothing to make it unique or interesting. A ridiculously overpriced, elitist spirit. You can literally get better tequilas for 1/10th the price of what you will pay for this.
