Proof66 Notes

Pueblo Viejo anejo tequila is the aged expression from historic Casa San Matias distillery aged for at least 1 year in American oak.

The product-specific website for the anejo reports that "...its soft orange color resembles a mild sunset."  Better still, the website on two separate occasions notes that "its alcoholoic impact is mild."  In the late-night throes we endure to bring the world every bit of information about the world's spirits, we at Proof66 take pleasure in ensuring that entertaining nuggets like these are available to you!

Clean, strong agave nose braced by astringent lemon/lime elements. Weakly flavored palate with some pepper and harshness added to the nose elements. Finishes smooth and buttery with underlying oak notes. Ill bump it to 3.5 stars if it mixes well.
